Retouching Learning Progress

I posted about taking a selfie and retouching it about a year ago. Today, I tried to retouch the selfie again - to see how it would look with my current retouching skills. Have I learned how to retouch better during the year?

The photo certainly needs retouching because when I shot it, my hair needed a wash, I had absolutely zero makeup so all the red spots and pores were visible and I was pretty tired which gave me lovely black circles under my eyes.

Not a bad effort I think. Better than last year. I managed to deal with the dark and red areas much better now. Maybe I’ve overdone it slightly? What do you think?
